Know what is
behind the byline.
The technology behind the edition should be as visible as the perspective in the article.
The five editorial personas
Zina Walter, Sally Scott, Mona Waheed, Grant Whitmore, and Scott Bennett are AI editorial personas. Their names and portraits are synthetic. They organize AI-assisted articles into subject desks; they are not five human reporters.
The human founder
Dr. Mohammad Riyad is the human founder and an opinion contributor. His name and identity are his own. His editorial portrait was created using AI from a reference image he supplied. No signed opinion has been published under his name in the opening edition.
What the opening articles represent
The edition contains original AI-assisted editorial writing and source-based explainers. The editorial research record retains supporting materials; article notes identify the nature and limits of each contribution. The site does not claim original interviews, on-the-ground reporting, exclusive documents, or an independent investigation unless such work is specifically identified and supported.
Images and context
Editorial-persona portraits are labeled as AI images. Stock photographs are illustrative and do not depict a specific reported event unless the caption says so. The gateway logo and typographic editorial graphics are original site designs.
Accountability remains visible
An AI label does not establish the truth of a claim. Readers can assess the reasoning, check dates, and consult the editorial standards and correction record. The opening content should be assessed on its evidence and reasoning.
